WELLS, BC, CANADA, JUNE 20.....Island Mountain Arts is proud to present the 7^th Annual ArtsWells Festival Of All Things Art in the two historic mining towns of Wells and Barkerville, British Columbia over the August Long weekend July 30 – August 2, 2010.

The ArtsWells Festival features 90 amazing musical acts performing on 9 unique stages over 4 unforgettable days in two historical towns. In addition to the music the ArtsWells features numerous workshops for the entire family (everything from juggling to felting), a visual artwalk, mini mural project, vendor village, street performances, the International One Minute Play Festival, poetry and spoken word and so much more. What makes this festival stand apart from other festivals is the fact the entire community is the festival site and has been best described by many of those who have attended as being summer camp for artists.

Find out for yourself why the ArtsWells Festival was voted one of the top ten festivals in Canada through a national wide poll conducted by CBC Radio 3, and highlighted as one of must attend summers festivals in Gonzo Magazine, Canadian Musician Magazine and BC Musician Magazine. ArtsWells is also the subject of a just released, full length documentary filmed in 2008 by indie filmmaker Dan Williams (call to get your copy today!).

As an added bonus, with the purchase of every early Early Bird and Regular Priced Adult Weekend Pass, festival-goers will receive a voucher valued at $20 towards any festival merchandise at the ArtsWells Merchandise Booth. ArtsWells pays the retail value to the artists who merchandise you choose, giving festival-goers the chance to support their favourite artist directly through the purchase of their festival pass. In addition this year every Adult and Youth Weekend Pass Holders will get a special Limited Edition 2010 ArtsWells Poster designed by the legendary rock poster designer Bob Masse!

A limited number of discounted Early Bird Tickets are now available until June 30, 2010 or until they sell out. Adult Early Bird Weekend Passes are only $75.00 & Early Bird Youth (ages 13 – 18) Weekend Passes are only $30.00 Children aged 12 and under are FREE!

Regular priced Tickets are available from July 1, 2010 until they sell out. Adult Weekend Passes are only $95.00 & Youth (ages 13 – 18) Weekend Passes are only $35.00 – subject to HST.
