Island Mountain Arts is pleased to announce a significant amount of funding that has been awarded to IMA from Community Futures North Cariboo. $15,000 has been granted in order to run an "Art Is Your Business" weekend of workshops, seminars, round tables and networking opportunities all geared towards empowering artists, musicians, writers (and any other creative persons) with business skills.

"Art Is Your Business" which is a program that IMA has run in the past with great success is planned for Friday, October 14 - Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Wells, BC. Currently IMA is soliciting feedback in order to make this program as valuable and relevant as possible for artists.
