For those in the early stages of their studies, Lori’s workshop is ideal. Participants in her class are always amazed at the progress they make. There is provision for absolute beginners, as well as those who have studied only for a short time, or who feel they want to review the basics. Bring your enthusiasm and your harp and leave inspired with a few tunes, some technical and compositional skills and a week of fun "under your belt.

She has taught numerous Beginner Harp courses at IMA, inspiring many newcomers to play this enchanting instrument. August 13, 6pm dinner, 7:30pm concert - Dinner and Sunset Theater Harp Concert:
Extra tickets can be purchased for the dinner and concert for $40, $25 for concert only.
August 14 - Afternoon Outing: Enjoy a trip to Barkerville and theatre performance at the Theatre Royal.
August 16, 6pm - Final Night Ceilidh and Potluck Party: A chance for students and instructors to perform.
Lori Pappajohn is known for her impeccable teaching skills and her great humour. She has taught numerous Beginner Harp courses at IMA inspiring many newcomers to play this enchanting instrument. Director of the wildly popular Winter Harp Ensemble, Lori has performed in Great Britain, Canada, the USA and Chile. Her former ensemble, Harps International, which was sponsored by Columbia Artists of New York, was featured at the International Jazz and Pop Harp Conference, the World Harp Congress and the International Folk Harp Conference. Lori specializes in styles ranging from Celtic to Latin to World, often integrating harp with percussion, singing, medieval instruments and story telling. Her 1994 album, Celtic Harp for Christmas, is an international success and was followed by a music video, a documentary and six world-class albums.
