Learn Brazilian guitar in a masterclass format for intermediate to advanced guitar players. Students should have at least four years of guitar study in order to attend. Acoustic nylon string guitars are preferred but steel string guitars are acceptable.
Bio: Virtuoso Brazilian guitarist, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist Celso Machado transports his audiences through the richness and diversity of Brazilian music and beyond. Just nominated for a 2008 Juno Award, Celso has performed and taught master classes throughout Europe, Canada, the United States and Brazil for over thirty years.
Tuition includes a ticket to the concert with Celso Machado and Don Alder at the Sunset Theatre on Thursday, July 31, 7:30pm. Extra tickets can be purchased for $25 ($20 for IMA members and ArtsWells Festival Pass holders).
